Here you'll work alongside a dedicated team of gamers and play an important role in some really cool, unannounced games, as well as support our current range of titles on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PS4 and Steam!

PR Manager

Job Type:

Full-time Role

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking to recruit a PR Manager! We want someone who is a great storyteller that cares about the detail. They will be creative and energetic, know about games and can hold their own during our office lunch gaming sessions. Our PR Manager will have a proven track record of building relationships, will be extremely organised with great negotiations skills and the ability to visualize end goals. 

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Work closely with the Marketing, Community and Production Departments to plan, produce and execute strategic PR initiatives with the purpose of broadening the awareness of the Wired brand and its IP's.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 4+ years Public Relations or Marketing experience (internal or agency side)
  • Minimum 2+ years PR experience in the video game industry with solid demonstrable gaming media relationships.
  • Minimum 2+ years direct management experience of fellow staff and/or agency outsourcing
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills under pressure while considering the big picture and not just quick fixes.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Extremely detail-oriented, ultra-organized, quality-focused and driven to consistently meet tight deadlines
  • Specific experience in strategic planning, issues management, social media, and internal communications
  • Strong team player, able to balance and blend various department needs and views into effective PR strategy and work with other teams to complement and support each other’s plans and objectives
  • Ability to objectively evaluate media feedback and make appropriate recommendations and actions with a focus on player satisfaction
  • Extensive knowledge of games and the game industry markets – including player audiences, genres, preferences, and trends
  • Being a passionate gamer helps too!

Senior Producer (Project Manager)

Full-time Role

JOB DESCRIPTION

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can effectively balance work in partnership with production and engineering management; and is responsible for driving each project, ensuring delivery on-schedule, to scope, and with high quality.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The Producer will drive the overall planning, management and completion of projects and technical implementations from a Publisher/stakeholder perspective. They will provide all project communication, including project status reporting, organising project meetings (kick off, planning, review, etc), documenting discussion points and tracking action items. They will coordinate internal and external dependencies in the project, and create and maintain implementation checklist for any expansions or DLCs.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in projects ranging from £250K - £1m+ budgets
  • A minimum of 5 years as a producer or equivalent role (project manager) with experience developing project plans and tracking tasks based on the plan
  • Successful completion of 5+ games on multiple sku's
  • Minimum experience of 3 platforms from Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, PC/MAC or Mobile.
  • Excellent project management skills preferably using agile methodologies
  • Ability to grasp and execute on technical concepts and actions
  • Proven experience in risk management and proactive risk assessment, mitigation and remediation
  • Ability to assimilate technical and business requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast paced multiple project environments on an independent basis and with minimal supervision
  • Experience on projects that span multiple platforms, business departments and operating units, vendors, and custom development
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Gamer with passion for big and small (indie) style projects
