GRIP: Combat Racing launches November 6th!

We are delighted to share that GRIP: Combat Racing, the ferociously fast, futuristic arcade combat racer,  – will speed onto the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC (via Steam) on November 6, 2018!

Developing GRIP: Combat Racing has been no easy feat. Starting from scratch and with a team, unconventionally, working as a satellite studio has made an interesting development cycle. From principal programmer Rob Baker battling power cuts in his very remote home (with only 4g connection!) to the team relying on skype and then discord to communicate and share updates, made it hard work to bring the team together, and even harder to keep development running smoothly. But after watching the release date trailer we think you'll agree... they nailed it!

    Racers who pre-order...

    Whoop! Today Wired turns 9!

Back in 2008 Wired Productions started out as a production house and studio, developing the We Sing franchise for publishing giant, Nordic Games (Now THQ Nordic). We produced We Sing Rock, We Sing Pop!, We Sing Encore, We Sing Robbie Williams, We Sing Deutsche Hits, We Sing UK Hits and We Sing 80's! Our singing games were so successful we were tasked with producing the official game for The Voice as well as Los 40 Principales: Karaoke Party for the Official Los 40 Chart Show in Spain!

9 years later and we have moved on from solely being a production house; we now search for great indie titles as a publisher to support! We started with the launch of Let’s Fish! Hooked On on the PS Vita. Following our fishing adventure we launched Last...

    Renée Unmasked

Luca Dalcò, the studio head at developer and screenwriter for The Town of Light, went on camera to talk about the game’s protagonist Renée. The video gives you a glimpse into her creation and helps you to understand what she meant to the team.

When creating Renée, LKA tried to imagine what the protagonist could feel and built up her story with immense detail, as if she were a real person. They produced hundreds of pages documenting her story to show and understand ourselves how she looks, how she acts and how she feels.

For the full story, please watch the video within this page or click here.

The Town of Light Wins at The Golden Dragon Awards

Last night at The Golden Dragon Awards in Italy, we were very proud and honoured for The Town of Light to win Best Artistic Achievement!

This is a great moment for the team at LKA, who have poured their hearts into the story of Renée. LKA is a true independent Italian developer based in Florence, for such a big and emotional game, the team is only 5 strong. Work first started back in 2014, with screenwriter and art and technical director Luca Dalcò spending months researching the issues the title deals with. They painstakingly recreated the real-life Italian asylum, Volterra, which shut down in the 1970s and the game is a testament to their hard work and commitment. The visuals and art of The Town of Light play a huge role in creating the emotion and the atmosphere. Through this, you...
